I'm pretty happy with 'em. Grimes didn't shoot well, but I liked his ability to get space for his quick release and expect the jumper to show up with more reps and less nerves. McBride really stood out for his work rate and I also expect his three-ball to fall in due time. Sims has more polish than I gave him credit for. The touch he flashed on the floater and the hook shot were exciting to see in a guy with such freak athleticism and size. His footwork was good too. I like the level of aggression these kids brought to every aspect of the game. They got after it on defense, moved well off the ball on offense, and they weren't afraid to shoot. I'd have liked to see McBride get more opportunities to create like IQ got; at least to try and get Quickley going since he was so off rhythm. But I also like that the Knicks really seemed to be focused on development over winning. These results don't matter, so letting IQ run the offense even with the blemishes could pay off in time. He's an intelligent dude and flashed some nice reads and dimes, I hope he can figure out the nuances once Kemba and Rose are around to help him figure stuff out.
Will be why Sims will possibly be better than Mitch if he can get stronger and improve on defense.

Unfortunately it looks like Mitch is on his way out but I highly doubt Sims ever gets on his level. Best case scenario for Sims is sticking around in the league and playing backup to Noel.

For all his athleticism Sims is still just 6'9. A center in power forward's body :dame:

Since I don't follow college ball I don't know how good or bad 1 block a game is, but Mitch gets 2 a game in the NBA with ease and affects so many shots.

Last season Mitch put some weight on and didn't get bullied around by other centers, other than his usual dumb fouls Mitch was putting it together last season.

I'm not quitting on him yet I hope he's healthy I was just highlighting Sims does 2 things Mitch has never shown.
