I just deleted a long rant so I don't look like a psycho.

2 1st round picks and 50 mil in capspace and the best we can do is replace Reggie Bullock after the shytshow of a playoffs we had and crowd the positions we drafted at. Incredible.

Looking forward to being a 4th-6th seed and 2nd round out at best the next 3 years at the expense of taking any risks and being led by Julius Randle.

As long as we're respectable now. Right?

CP and Conley got huge overpays to stay with their teams, Lowry got overpaid in a sign+trade, Payne took a sweetheart deal to stay in PHX, Pellies traded a 1st to sign+trade for Graham.

The only one I can see an argument for is the Lonzo 4/85, but that was a sign+trade and I bet anything that deal isn't gonna look better than the Rose 3/43.

They don’t need a great PG so maybe they can still pull it. But Patty Mills, Kendrick Nunn, and Ish Smith. It’s literally, keep Thibs from killing Rose insurance. If they can add a PG, Both the draft and FA makes sense and I feel a lot better about their playoff chances, because Thibs won’t ride Rose 35 minutes a game to get wins.

Also the Knicks have two half 1st rounders that are trade bait. I would have respected that Graham trade.

With Spencer going to Washington and Graham with NOP we could swoop in on Schröder. He’s out of teams.

I think we’re better than last year with depth and another secondary playmaker (Fournier) but Schröder could be a nice luxury

u right fam , u actually got pieces on reasonable contracts eg fournier, .bourkes , plus picks , some rooks ... it looks better then what yall had previously to offer if the right player is available

Nunn would be cheap, no one took a chance at Graham, Payne went for stupid low money.

Ya’ll can’t tell me the money they used to bring back Burk’s wouldn’t have been better spent on a PG who would limit Rose’s minutes and allow Rose to play with the bench if they needed that scoring punch.

Fournier and Burks is redundant and on the low Grimes is like them too….

Yeah a combo guard is what the Knicks need at PG next to Randle, RJ, and Fournier. A 4th option PG who can defer and set up Randle/RJ/Fournier AND be able to score from passing from Randle. The best way to think of the ideal PG for Randle is as safety function that can get him and the rest of the team the ball if a team over commits to defending Randle. If everything is normal the PG can operate off ball from Randle, drive and attack on their own,or just catch and shoot.

Rose could do that but Rose can and should do a lot more Like he did playing with IQ and Burks.
