I’m not big on the Noel deal.. In my opinion it’s a clear sign Mitch won’t end next season a Knick. Noel is just as injury prone as Mitch…so I don’t get it.

But I do love the fact the bulk of the roster is coming back. Chemistry and familiarity with each other is underrated.

Fournier is nice, and he can initiate the offense..I think at the PG position we’ll be fine. They obviously believe in Vildoza

I would’ve prefer Norman Powell over Fournier. He can guard like Reggie and isn’t as crafty as Fournier but he can get buckets.

I still believe in Knox. It’s mins available there for him. I feel he’ll take advantage of that

What pg was really available that they could grab? These other guys were all pretty much locked in to the teams they wanted to go to at 6pm.
Only point guards that seem available, although I don't think Dinwiddie is interested
  • Schroder - wasn't happy with 4 - $84m he was offered during the season.
  • Dinwiddie - always looked like he was going to Wizards, there was talk of a sign and trade with Nets since Westbrook/Kuzma trade, but apparently he wants Jarret Allen money.

We should give a call to Sacramento and Orlando since they both have 5 point guards

I don't get the media shytting on us like this is a typical "lul Knicks" off-season? This was fine, these are all movable contracts, we still have plenty of flexibility for 2022/a big trade, this is the market. There weren't PG's available, the money HAD to get spent, someone HAD to get paid, we paid solid players their value, I just don't get the reaction other than people thinking we a joke when it's clear Leon and Co know what they're doing.

Like come on you can't shyt on the Fournier deal and then praise the THJ deal like I been seeing on twitter that's just some nonsense.

Knicks bid against themselves with Noel's contract, but they needed to bring him back with Robinson's health a ?.

Knicks got their point guard in Rose. They need a solid backup.

Lowry wasn’t an option, neither was Ball, Paul or Dinwiddie
Nunn would be cheap, no one took a chance at Graham, Payne went for stupid low money.

Ya’ll can’t tell me the money they used to bring back Burk’s wouldn’t have been better spent on a PG who would limit Rose’s minutes and allow Rose to play with the bench if they needed that scoring punch.

Fournier and Burks is redundant and on the low Grimes is like them too….

do we still have enough to offer Nunn something?

I feel like they're gonna do that with the fringe money or summer league guys they got comin in. You can bullshyt PG here, Payne only went for that money cause he staying on a team with nikkas he like playing with, I just don't think you're gonna get any kinda play any better than what we got without overpaying someone bad and then we right back to where we were with Payton.
