This and 8 are on the new Playstation service.
I saw 8 on sale and wanted to buy it again, gonna invest into this service now.

Looks like after Kuro II releases this year this will Falcom’s 2023 release. (JP release only for both. )
Not sure how I feel about that... But Ys is an amazing franchise that stood the test of time so I have faith in Falcom

As much fun as the party game entries have been, one complaint especially the case with IX has been difficulty being too easy. Based on the little information we have, this will be similar to Origin/VI/Ark but with the playable Heroine and you can change the weapon attribute. That aspect sounds a lot like the Dana Solo sections in Viii, which were amazing imo. Obviously there needs to be more info given, but so far I like what I am hearing.
