Is the hulu series any good? I heard it was wack. :lupe:

On another note, I hope she's alive or they find the criminal. This shyt disturbing.
American Horror Stories on Hulu. (Notice that it’s stories and not story bc they changed it to that for marketing) The first 3 eps are boring, too weird and skippable. But eps 5 (Ba’al) and 6 (Feral) are really good. Ep4 - the Naughty List is ok.

Far from open shut. First gotta prove she dead to even charge him for murder no?
No body, no evidence of violence, no charge. :yeshrug:

Not in all cases - that “no face no case” is a fallacy. It’s more like “no corpse, no problem”. If there is enough incriminating and forensic evidence to deduce that she was murdered or he in some way contributed to her death including the circumstantial evidence - he can be charged. If they find enough evidence, the DA will proceed with that indictment.

That’s not how that works. Look up the case of Etan Patz- child abduction case. Body was never found but they declared him dead in absentia. Prosecutors secured a kidnapping and murder conviction.
“Death in absentia (award in absentia) means that someone is declared death despite gaining any direct proof of the person's death.”

Man I find things like this creepy as hell - especially the people who went missing in the 60's/70's and not a single trace of them has ever been found to this day, thats crazy. Me personally I love the outdoors but the scary reality is theres probably a ton of weirdos hiding out in forests and secluded rural environments just waiting to snatch people up.

Perfect spots for serial killers
