YouTube’s Golden Age was def that period of its inception in 2005 all the way to 2013 when the whole Vine phenomenon peaked

You could watch movies and whole TV episodes in full back then

The pixelation and servers were trash at the time looking back but back then, shyt was state of the art. I even remember the old format

Only thing that really sucked about it tho was this

shyt would be stuck on buffer for 30 mins to an hour sometimes, shyt got real disrespectful while you were in the middle of watching some really good shyt

That’s how I caught up back then whenever I missed a Naruto episode back on the OG Toonami. As a matter of fact, YouTube allowed me to watch Shippuden when it first came out in Japan back in ‘07, this was back YEARS before it got dubbed for the U.S. Breh, when I tell how fukking hype I was to watch the first season intro on there

that, darude-sandstorm and rick roll I hated them damn songs always came up when I was tryna find cracked keys or keygen programs on early era YT and the video started with either one of those songs I knew I was in for some bullshyt

Edit:or most of the time this song would play in the back of a video that had unregistered hypercam in the bottom corner

I was in Korea in 2006 and Youtube didn't really enforce copyright infringement yet. I was able to keep watching my tv shows by just going to Youtube. The experience of be able to access every music video and concert footage was too
