I saw this today. The interface is trash, but I deal with it because it’s closer to cable behavior. I’m about to cut back my service to make up the difference. I had a feeling they’d try to sneak fukk customers after they got established.

I’d even go back to cable if rates re comparable now.

They might as well just admit already these subscription things are the new “cable”

This and like 2 streaming services is an OG cable bill

except you can cancel and restart any of these services in the click of button and decide how much you do or don't want to watch

My parents still have traditional cable with there "premium" channels being starz and HBO, last I checked they were paying $150 a month

also YouTube TV is a online TV service I don't even consider it a streaming channel

Are people really acting like this is regular YouTube? It’s a streaming live TV service like Sling, Hulu, or DirecTV now. With that said, I signed up for the free trial a couple of weeks ago because I was all set to cancel my DirecTV. Called up DirecTV to cancel and they offered a discount package cheaper than what YouTube TV was offering. So I took the package and cancelled YouTube TV after the free trial. But it’s a really good streaming service if your satellite/cable service is more expensive. Unlimited DVR, great lineup of live sports, all the local channels, etc.

Funny looking at this post from 2019. When this promo ended we switched to YouTube TV permanently and wish we did it sooner.
