I just skip the ads thru the feedback button when they pop up. It takes one second. I soley watch YouTube on my TV though never on PC or mobile.

It's not intrusive because you know YouTube has ads upfront and go there anyway. It's like Forbes. I don't go to that site cause they have ads. You can just not use YouTube. Nobody is entitled to a free ad-free YouTube as it's a paid service.
