The best game on N64 was WCW/nWo Revenge. Even tho the graphics were better, I never liked sports games on N64 outside of Live. The Dreamcast was my favorite system by far but its reign was short

Nope. WWF No Mercy was essentially the same game but fleshed out with faaaar more features. I loved that damn game. :mjcry:

Shoutout my cousin jr

Good thing i've always had gigantic hands and held that controller like a real nikka. Hated those try hard little fakkits that held it the way in the picture, they all thought they was some pro gamers and shyt.

so we all came to the same conclusion

that weirdo grip was for baby.hand nikkas

How I held it growing up...OP is onto something :mjlol:

This is/was the only civilized manner of holding the N64 controller.

There was a z trigger on the other side of the middle stick that was complimentary to the analogue stick and was used for shooting.

So did you big handed nikkas use it then? :mjpls: So instead of using your strongest finger to support the pad you would have to use your middle finger instead of your trigger finger to use the trigger. And your trigger finger to twist awkwardly to use the left shoulder button.
With both you thumb and middle finger stretched out and your trigger finger twisted 90 degrees away from your other fingers like some crip gang sign with your left hand.

The video I posted/the grip we used had all of that covered. Super comfortable. I was 10 when I got my N64 so maybe it would have been different if I was younger.

Bigger question is if y'all used the baby grip method, how would you ever press the L button :picard:

It was a dumbass design. Unless y'all were grown men 22 years ago :old:. Playing the infantile games on N64, with your crab hands.
I can't believe someone designed this, it was tested and approved and released to sell millions, even the designer of it must have had the :what: face.
You grab the middle stick you can't use one side of the controller, you grab the sides the analogue and z trigger can only be used by stretched thumb and finger, giving bad control.

Yeah, I used my right middle finger for the trigger if I recall correctly...
