I don't have an issue with the process itself, just with the message conveyed by how the Trump administration is going about it. Either it's wilfull incompetence, already showing your potential enemies your weaknesses or a grand gesture to symbolise that nationalism is the order off the day. Which he has already stated will be the path the US is going to follow, this would literally be the next most logical step.

Obama did a lot to reopen the pathway to the world/globalization after W. had it slammed on his face. Looks like they're taking all the nice/gentle reps who reopened these doors and replacing them with business minded/pro-Murica reps to ensure that the west is out there steady competing with China/east as the next stage of this game of risk goes into play. China working on building a new silk road and the only way the US is gonna be able to compete is with someone like Trump at the helm. Think dollars and cents.

Lmao this is a discussion, the subject was about the 45 ambassadors that the Trump adminastration got rid off. The question here is why would you use one example when this clearly involves many more ?
Lol, I posted quite a few articles explaining how this isn't new, including one personal account involving the specific ambassador.

I even posted an article from 2008, showing Obama doing the same thing.

Wow did you just not use example's from the media to make your counter-argument. Why are you so quick to believe in your government?
How am I believing the government?

I'm stating that this process isn't new, it's been done before. I also explained how the ambassadors are picked.

Most of them are just friends or donors that buy their way in to that position. You dudes are making these "ambassadors" positions bigger than they are.

Drakes position as global ambassador for the Raptors is more important than most of these positions for fukks sakes...

stop acting stupid...no president has fired every ambassador without a replacement for any of them...even when Obama did, he had replacements for the majority in line...

Which did not state that he hasn't replaced them yet, which makes your point moot. The one I posted to you by the Independent, clearly states that Trump has not got anyone to replace them with.
I really am the last person to argue a point unless its valid, also I don't really follow the mainstream media anyway. But what I cannot abide is just pretending everything is right. I did agree with you in regards to Soros.
Let's just agree to disagree.

Here..

soo..tell me all you know about Ambassadors??? and how important they really are.

maybe you can explain to us all how those positions are usually given to ppl that "buy" their way in to that spot.

So you want to be a US ambassador? Here’s what it will cost you

The appointment of Colleen Bell to the ambassadorship of Hungary has been a point of contention in this regard. Bell produced The Bold and the Beautiful, a soap opera that has won 40 Daytime Emmys, which is great, but hardly requires a particular knowledge of Central European culture, languages, or politics. Bell, however, was a major fundraiser for president Barack Obama’s re-election campaign, and—as part of a long, storied tradition of rewarding top supporters with plum ambassadorial gigs—she has been recompensed accordingly.

Bell is not alone. In fact, based on a report compiled by The New York Times, many of Obama’s top campaign fundraisers have received fancy diplomatic appointments, likely to the consternation of a few State Department lifers, bouncing between placements in Armenia, Fiji, and Nepal.

Here, Quartz has compiled a list of recent appointments graded by how much money each ambassador raised for the 2012 Obama campaign:

  1. Denise Bauer, US ambassador to Belgium: $2,360,300
  2. Matthew Barzun, US ambassador to the United Kingdom: $2,312,509
  3. Colleen Bell, US ambassador to Hungary: $2,101,635
  4. Rob Barber, US ambassador to Iceland: $1,687,219
  5. John Emerson, US ambassador to Germany: $1,562,350
  6. Suzi LeVine, US ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein: $1,515,493
  7. Robert Sherman, US ambassador to Portugal: $1,386,770
  8. Noah Mamet, US ambassador to Argentina: $1,374,003
  9. Jane Hartley, US ambassador to France and Monaco: $1,353,200
  10. Mark Gilbert, US ambassador to New Zealand: $1,232,988
  11. James Costos, US ambassador to Spain and Andorra: $1,124,925
  12. James Brewster, US ambassador to the Dominican Republic: $1,121,027
  13. Kirk Wagar, US ambassador to Singapore (not mapped): $1,117,000
  14. Bruce Heyman, US ambassador to Canada: $1,012,800
  15. Pam Hamamoto, US ambassador to UN headquarters in Geneva (not mapped): $1,011,654

All this is, is trump replacing obamas friends with his own friends. Just like Obama replaced bushs and so on...

The issue is not reliant on whether its been done before, the issue lies in, on how it is being done right now. There are no replacements ready.

These positions aren't empty, they are being held by deputies in place while the new ambassador is appointed.

Y'all thinking these offices are being abandoned and shyt...stop.

Agreed. But look at who they are and what they represent. All businessmen are not equal. While the ultimate end goal is profitability, some rock you to sleep and some do you dirty with no vaseline. Pick your poison.

Wow I know that, it's the symbolism behind it, as I stated previously, he's showing the world what route he's going to take.I'm not arguing on whether it's a catastrophe or not (WHICH IT IS NOT)but on whether him showing the path he is going to take is.

They all have their own agendas though, and they all seem to follow the same party line.

So if your issue is that a republican will bring in republican friends and democrat presidents will bring in democratic friends then it is what it is.

Lmao@ "Why, the Republicans wouldn't even let Obama appoint a new Supreme Court justice on his way out!"

That was probably one of my favorite times on The Coli. That was when I was absolutely certain these kids didn't understand how politics worked.

I don't think libtards in this country grasp that they have lost all 3 branches of govt. Not even sure they can name all 3 branches in the first place.

Lol@ "Abolish the electoral college NOW!"

Lol@ "Impeach Trump NOW!"

Sure, guy. The Republican-controlled Congress will get right on that. *chuckle*

Also: Peace to McCain and Graham spending all their remaining political capital on that fake Russian blackmail story. Goddamn that was a dumb ass gamble.

raw
I've never heard anyone outside a disgusting male cac use the term, "libtard". :dame:

Trump has really emboldened these hateful and cowardly mother fukkers. They are busy trolling these Coli streets like the cacroaches that they are.
