Former heavyweight champions being treated as lower mid-card talent once they lose the belt. Miz was WWE Champion and won a WestleMania main event... yet he's stuck dealing with the mid card titles. Once you become a main eventer you should always be treated as a main eventer of some sort.

So here are the real main eventers in your mind given the current roster + some guys that not won it.

The Undertaker
Kane
Triple H
Big Show
Chris Jericho
Brock Lesnar
John Cena
Randy Orton
Sheamus
The Miz
Alberto Del Rio
Seth Rollins
Roman Reigns
Jack Swagger
Dolph Ziggler
Mark Henry

Nah.

That's not a bad roster of main eventers... Swagger is questionable though :patrice: but he still earned that main eventer credibility. Mix some of them up with some high-tier mid carders and you can build some decent feuds and ppv cards.

"Let me tell you something, jack. The Rock knows Tampa. The Rock knows Tampa. The Rock knew Tampa this morning when he sent out his morning tweet. The Rock sent out his morning tweet, then The Rock had his famous pancakes. The famous pancakes of The Rock were eaten here in Tampa, the home of the Super Bowl XXXVII champions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers! The Rock then finished off those buttery pancakes and drove right through Alligator Alley! The Rock drove through Alligator Alley on his way to the local gym, clanging and banging and clanging and banging! After he finished, The Rock saluted Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays, and came here to say...........FINALLY, THE ROCK......HAS COME BACK......TO TAMPA, FLORIDA!!!!"

:sean_:

4-5 of them should've been retired for like 2-3 years at least.

  • :no:No more "Bikini Contests" & all the other wonderful fukkery they would have Divas do every week :banderas:
  • "Extreme Rules" & "TLC" PPVs having 1 Extreme Rules/TLC match:dahell:

  • The sheer amount of inconclusive finishes (DQ, outside interference, etc....) at the end of PPV main events.....they'll pull that bullshyt 4 times in a row before you get a semi-clear winner of a feud instead of trading a few wins/losses between 2 feuding wrestlers leading up to a climatic "rubber match" that would have the crowd amped. That other bullshyt is for building up the feud on RAW & SD, not PPV main events.:camby:

The lack of managers/valets is a huge missed opportunity, they can bring so much to a teams impact with the crowd. Just look at Lana & Del Rios announcer homie for "recent" examples. This would've been an excellent move by WWE, especially with the tag team division starting to look somewhat stacked up in quality & quantity..........shame is that bc of #WWELogic the creative team could squash 10 tag teams by the time RAW finishes tomorrow night bc it makes TOO MUCH sense to have a thriving tag division after so long :manny:

EDIT: @jackswstd DAP/REP for summing up the lack of managers on the 1st page :salute:

It bothers me how many wrestlers rely on the superkick as a move in their arsenal. HBK used to do it and it was his finisher, now it's so widely used it's not nearly as impactful seeing one land.

To that end, I'm also bothered by wrestlers who don't really wrestle; the Usos for example just jump off of shyt and superkick their way through every match. Same thing with Reigns and that lame ass Superman punch. The only wrestling move I've seen them and Reigns use consistently is the Samoan Drop.

Meh Adam Rose didn't really have main event potential with that gimmick, maybe Tyler Breeze but that was a flop from the start, they seem to have big plans for Crews but it's wait and see with him. I really think Neville should've been booked better, he proved he could go with the Main Eventer, just watch his match with Rollins. The Four Horsewomen have done fine though.

They have no idea what to do with Crews. He was called up too early before he could find a gimmick or a character. Now he's wrestling random matches on Smackdown/Main Event while the commentators rave about how athletic he is. :beli:

:mjlol:you forgot the "Going off script just to piss off Kevin Dunn" spot but that's dead on

This is usually the point where someone comes out (like Rusev) and The Rock handles it in his own way:

"Rusev, you may be a fat, rooty-tooty Russian jabroni, and your girlfriend or your wife or whatever may not even know where she's from. But The Rock knows your potential. Every day, The Rock sees something in you that the boys backstage can't. The Rock sees a star in you, The Rock sees your potential, and these people, they know it. I know it. Vince doesn't know it, Triple H doesn't know it. I'm sure Stephanie and Kevin don't know it, but you're here to stay." :jawalrus:

Minutes later, for some unknown reason......

"You try giving me this praise...." :comeon:

"IT DOESN'T MATTER IF I PRAISED YOU!!! The only thing that matters is for the rest of your career, you will never, and The Rock means never....be better.....than The Rock. Not even The Rock can be better than The Rock." :stopitslime:

RUSEV:

*The Rock inexplicably gives Rusev a Rock Bottom and the People's Elbow, then poses for the crowd*

COLE: The Rock in rare form here tonight! :obama:

JBL: That's why he's the Great One, Maggle, the best of all-time! :blessed:

SAXTON: Maybe The Rock's right. Maybe Rusev can't.....be better than The Rock. :sas2:

:russ:This makes me think was Austin and The Rock the most popular heels of all time? All both of them did was heel shyt: drink beer, cussed, shyt talk and middle fingers, random stunners and expensive clothes, much more shyt talking, talking bout eating some wrestlers girlfriend's "poontang pie :takedat:", random rock bottom for no reason. :mjlol:Nothing babyface bout any of that, 97-98' Rob Van Dam was in the same boat
