I think I got post traumatic stress around chickens and eggs though.

When I was really young my grandparents would make us go out on Saturday’s and kill the chickens for Sunday dinner. We would have to grab them by the head and swing them around until the neck snapped off.

I still have the vision of being a 6 year old watching headless chickens run around the yard, bumping into shyt ,with blood shooting out of their necks..

I could understand this...I actually raised 2 chickens when I was younger...and when I saw what they’d eat when I let them roam around in the backyard it made me not wanna eat chicken for a hot minute
