Guardians is FUN as fukk. Just pure entertainment and legitimately hilarious.

Apes is a masterpiece blockbuster. In my opinion, the best tentpole film since The Dark Knight or Jurassic Park.




....but if you like Transformers......

I dont care for story lines when it comes to transformers like most bytch about. Its based off an 80's cartoon that didnt even have an interesting story line to begin with. I just like watching my child hood come to life and the action.

This is tough....Only a couple of these are in my top movies of 2014, but of the top summer movies (starting May 1 and ending August 31), I will go with these in order:

5.Godzilla
4.22 Jump Street
3.The Rover
2.Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
1.X-Men: Days of Future Past

Both #1 & #2 are part of my top 2014 list as of right now, but after oscar season starts next week, they will probably drop

Honorable Mention to Guardians of the Galaxy...thought it was pretty good, but I need a second viewing to decide whether its top 5 material
