Guardians is FUN as fukk. Just pure entertainment and legitimately hilarious.

Apes is a masterpiece blockbuster. In my opinion, the best tentpole film since The Dark Knight or Jurassic Park.

....but if you like Transformers......:weirdo:

Very good comparison as i felt the same after finishing Dawn...

I can't even name 3 great movies this summer. 22 Jump Street was good. I didn't finish Cap 2.

Godzilla was pure :trash:Ya'll really liked that shyt?

Yea I loved it. It was fun; I did want more Godzilla, but I loved the subplot and the other monsters; I look forward to the sequel

I'm looking forward to the sequel even though I was lukewarm on this one. I think they need to ditch the humans or at least make them more interesting and less flat but then again maybe that was the acting (not Cranston tho, he was the best thing about it aside from the monsters)

Cranston was amazing to me and that's why I loved it...Once the Aaron kid came on the screen, I was focused on Ken Watanabe's character and the monsters

Godzilla was messy as hell and Aaron Taylor Johnson is as uninteresting an action star as has probably ever been cast....

...but I still loved it.

Yeah he just can't hold my attention although he did for Kick Ass so I think it was just the tone they were going for in the movie although Ken's character seems like he's in a different movie

Between Cranston dying within the first hour and the hour it took for us to see one of the few glimpses of Godzilla I was very let down:snoop:

Movie is Peter Jackson King Kong status:scusthov:

Oh I know how we can do the comedy list breh without the point system since that is inherently rigged lol...just count the number of times a movie is mentioned and establish the list based on that

Welp, I like that movie too :manny:

Same thing though.....it's got plenty of problems, but I'm a fan in spite of them

I've been doing that with a lot of movies recently. Objectively I acknowledge their problems but I still like them because I enjoy the things they got right

Nah nothing is as bad as those King Kong movies (I have a bias against them for obvious race reasons anyway), but I didn't mind the Cranston death because it was organic and not some character acting for the sake of the plot; it was a real character moment and it was powerful;

And to be honest, I loved the other monsters and that final battle was AMAZING, so I greatly enjoyed the film and my only criticism is that there does need to be more Godzilla in the sequel
