:obama:

Halloween was Definitely better than A Predator Halloween. :why:
Mike Myers is the man. I still fukk with predator despite its issues and obvious studio fukkery but it’s nothing I’m going to put on my list. I do have a couple horror flicks on it tho as of now. One is permanent and the other might get moved off but horror has to be on my list.

Got a horror flick, a flick about race, an action joint, a Scorsese pick, and a sports movie. Might throw something on just to fukk with everyone and throw off the master list if someone is making one.

what I don’t want is for all these lists to look the same and be boring as fukk and obvious.

I say that and of course someone will throw on the lion king just to make me eat those words :russ:

The last three are hateful, django and once right?

I have to see once again cause I’m like you...only saw it once. Liked it but didn’t love it. But I’d probably put Django, Hateful, and then Once. Still haven’t peeped his Netflix shyt where he split everything up with Hateful and added scenes.

I think Django will hold up cause of the performances and the fact that shyt moves. There’s no dead spots in it or no moments to watch the scenery. BUT, lol, all of his flicks this decade are way too damn long. He needs a new editor to slap his ass and tell him “nah homie” cause right now I think he’s just doing whatever he wants and being way too self indulgent. He’s always been that, but he seems extra with it now.

None of them are fukking with inglorious basterds tho:hubie:

Yeah Quentin is in full do whatever the fukk he wants mode. :francis:

I like when he did admit that when Grindhouse flopped that he and RR thought they could make whatever the fukk they wanted and it would be a success. :russ:

I like hateful 8. This last movie went on way too long only to build up to an ending that was totally out of left field. Entertaining but just like ok...thats what u wanted to show this whole time?

Would be nice to see him go back to more simplistic times a la Jackie Brown, Reservoir Dogs.

Man I wish Grindhouse was a success cause I love that idea and concept. Don’t love death proof at all but it’s just a dope idea. And yeah hubris will do that to you. He does need to go make some smaller shyt now, but if he’s really winding down with his career, do you see that happening? Not even on some rhetorical shyt, genuinely asking if you think he’ll end with something small to bring it full circle.

He might need to be humbled first. If he makes a flop he might. Or he'll quit.:russ:

Hateful 8 cost like 40 million dollars. That shyt would've cost 5 million back in 94. He's just out of fukking control lmao

funny thing about Grindhouse me and my brother were hyped for it. Bought tix early. Went to see it a 5pm and not one single person was in the theater. :dead:

We laughed our asses off tho throughout.

But imo bruh, when they tried to force the look of the grindhouse 70s era explotation, it just didn't seem natural. When he did it with some of his other flicks it seemed more in tune. RR did it better but then he went full generic with Machete. :francis:Just my opinion but thats how i felt about it.

I’ve read that opinion tho so it’s not just you. The idea of “making” a grindhouse movie when those movies were never made to intentionally look that way or cut corners rubbed some cats the wrong way. They were doing what they could with small budgets. Meanwhile you got these two millionaires with a million dollar company behind them intentionally making a “low budget” movie and it just felt fake. I get that argument completely. I still enjoy it but I feel you
