Retroactively - 1989. Steamboat-Flair, a blossoming Sting.. Heel Luger, Funk, and Muta... Beginning of the Steiners, twilight of the Midnight Express, Doom, and the Road Warriors

Warrior is coming up as a top guy. Jake, Dibiase, Perfect, Rude, Bad News, Dusty, and Piper are beasting. Hart Foundation, Brainbusters, Rockers, Rougeaus, and Demolition are killing it. Macho is easily the best in North America at this point.

Non-Retroactive - 1998. Austin and Goldberg are on top. Taz is doing his thing in ECW. Rock, HHH, Jericho, He Who Shall Not Be Named, Eddie, and RVD are putting on clinics. The angles are still fresh. Broads were dropping titties out during bikini contests. :blessed: the tag teams were different and had gimmicks that set them all apart.

It was still (just about) real to me godammit and the Ultimate Challenge was pretty much all I gave a fukk about all year. I made that Wrestlemania weekend last for about 3 years.

Shout out 1999 because I got back into wrestling as a teen for the Attitude era and watched all these PPVs with a crew of mates and beers. Violence, dark shyt, puppies... but we all knew it was fake and laughed at it as much as with it. Bart Gunn/Butterbean was epic fukkery but it's no match for genuinely marking the fukk out as an 8 year old watching Warrior shake the ropes.

For a WWE run, I’d say 2002 - 2004 was some great shyt, with 2003 being my favorite year as a 6/7 year old wrestling fan. I still have vivid memories as a child of those times.

I would save up piggy bank money to buy PPVs type shyt :mjlol: used to record them on blank vhs tapes.

Ya boy put it work last year, mania weekend, nj shows, GCW, goin to hoodslam every Friday and other local Indy shows. Saw a lot in 2018 too.

Tv wise probably Daniels run. Pulling double duty every Monday, the rise of the shield and Wyatt family.

1997 created the most memories for me
Austin vs Bret Hart was my favorite fued of all time

Hart Foundation stable
Nation of Domination stable
Bret Hart and Canada vs United States
Canadian Stampede
ECW Takeover
DX
1st Hell in a Cell
Kane
The Attitude era style switch up
The screwjob

At WCW, NWO was just aight to me, but i found the cruiserweight division more entertaining

98 was fun but the wrestling in 97 was way better

other than Corporate Rock, 1999 was kinda shyt,

2000 was my 2nd favorite year
