I didnt realize the impact this album had when it came out. I think i was only like 13 and u know how cats be at that age. Only wanting to listen to the single over and over again. But as i got a year or two older i realized that i had a classic on my hands and the game had changed. Always will wonder what shyt would be like if BIG and Pac wouldn't have got smoked.

Growin up I was a sway and king tech wake up show fiend, so the first time I heard Juicy was on the late night mix. Told my potnas at school if they ever heard the joint on the wake up show where the nikka is damn near yellin when he's spittin and he keep sayin "If ya don't know then now ya know"......None of them fools knew who the fvck I was talkin about, and sway NEVER said the name of the cut or who the nikka was when they would spin it every now and then....

Next thing you know sh1t is gettin daytime radio play, its in the top 10, everybody n they mama requesting it, muthafvckas on the bus and at school yellin "super nintendo, sega genesis...."

All this sh1t was before the video and the album even dropped, didn't even know what dude looked like.

It was a trip watching that single blow up like it did :takedat:
