I dont get why people think those CaCs are biting Nas and Ghost when back in the day they were made NYC rappers who sounded like that cause they had East Coast voices.

if I wanna hear some shyt that sounds like Nas, I'll put on some Nas the same way if I wanna hear Ghostface, imma put on GFK and of Action Bronson
His wordplay way crazier than nas if we keepin it a stack

I made a thread about it the other day mods locked it with the quickness lol

stop it fam you deserve a neg for this. it's more than sounding the same action bronson and droog both infringe on styles that are not their own. Droog would go as far as pronouncing certain words and rhyming them the same way nas puts a twist on em. Action borrows heavily from one of ghost's styles the loose flow era and he has admitted it himself that he was "inspired" by ghost. I never had a problem with Action until he acted like a fukk boi on television. Ghost even went as far as doing songs with him even when he was being egged on from time to act hateful towards Bronson. If you want to refer to the history or rap pertaining to 90's mc's then you should know that they come from a strictly no biting era and thats fact. Both those cacs would have been given a heavy escort out the game back in the day for that shyt.

hardly thats why interest was lost when he revealed himself :mjlol: . Royce has better wordplay than Nas but guess who I'm tryna hear. Song writing is about being well rounded

He doesn't have a great song just like action bronson. Just spitting for the hell of it isn't gonna make classics you can revisit for decades. You comparing these amateurs to dudes with plenty of actual quotables not. I respect Action but he just ramble flows that shyt is light. Droog needs his own style before he gets any type respect or traction

Bronson got more of a laid back approach to his voice and Ghost raps with a bit more energy. Droog sounds like he trying to copy G Rap more than Nas. Im sure they inspired by them but like as much as that biting shyt is meant to be a sin, we know mad people in NY that switched their style to follow one trend. idk I just think they sound like traditional New York boom bap rappers than specfically Ghost and Nas biters

that's on you. while i was sure droog was never nas I was definitely offended by the biting and it is clearly undeniable. When you a trully inspired you take something and build on it. He just took another artist whole style to catch a buzz. Nah fam.. no go he blacklisted from my speakers for life. Action though needs to redeem himself for that fukkery he lost a lot of respect

Droog the best emcee since I don't know who, it's great too cuz he's not signed to a major and not the type that won't sell out and commercialize his music for dollars so he's practically guaranteed to drop a steady stream of quality albums not just a hot debut

His rap voice sounds like nas and he's an east coast rapper but I think there's plenty difference in their styles

He's not better than don q on his best day

that's the best rapper out of ny in a long time and unlike droog you can hear how he expanded on his influences rather than mimicks them :mjpls:

we will see how their careers go tho.

bootleg nas or new new york excellence :mjpls:

Droog more than a good lyricist though, the music itself is on point, he structures his songs properly, doesn't use hooks, has actual bass lines in his music. He's doing what most rappers aren't aware of and it makes his music stand out in comparison

Because they do sound like them. Get ya own voice/identity; shyt, get ya own culture and don't vulture off of hip hop. Emcees still get that work for not writing their own shyt so I don't see what's the issue. This isn't even worth breaking down because it has been broken down in the thread already two plus years ago. Why is this so hard to understand?
