I’m only on episode 6 but I had to get this off my chest.
The writers of this show don’t think highly of black people. In season 1, they had Kofi beat to death and then the lil breh Eugene’s family blown up.
Now in this season Carlo tries to kill Eugene, Eugene has the drop on Carlo, and instead of killing the dude who has caused him so much pain (like he LITERALLY tried to do last season)… he gives a monologue and runs away.
No way Eugene would be that dumb. He has to know even if let’s Carlo live that the mob is gonna be on his ass.
Also this dude KJ is not about to talk to two old cacs askin him questions about a two year old unsolved murder. shyt had me like

Just binged watched this recently and finished season 2.
Gina Baxter is more evil than Wendy from the Ozarks i must say. Every scene she's in all black with that evil smirk on her face.
Eugene had it bad for two seasons, glad that he has a real chance of a start. This show instead of being called "your honor" should've been called
"The have's and the have not's".. For two seasons there was no payoff on Gina or Carlo getting any karma and that sucked and there was always this underlined toned of racism but it was never really spoke of directly..
The way they wrapped it up, there shouldn't be a need for a Season 3 but I guess in the event they did, you do have the Baxter story line with Jimmy trying to kill his wife and what not.
I just don't see how a new season which would just be the interworkings of N.O. streets and politics interesting.. The ending closed enough chapters for me.

Finished the season. Really good. As much as I’d like to see the c*nt wife and idiot son get theirs, I’m fine with the series ending here.

You could do season 3 with Big Mo vs. Gina with Jimmy scheming In the background. I know Big Mo/Gina settled their beef, but with all the fukkery involved in the show the writers can always do something to reignite it.
