Show is dope.
That black kid :sadcam:

Sidenote and its small...im a lil put off nobody has an accent, like the slightest smidge of a new Orleans or even Southern accent. If you told me the show took place in Connecticut I'd believe you. If the main characters can't lock down a familiar accent cool, but none of the side characters got a tinge of a twang. It bothers me, especially when the city is a part of the storyline and so distinct in the imagery

I thought New Orleans had more neutral accents as far as the South goes (especially among white people)

This might be one of those shows where the acting holds up the writing.

How the fukk did the cops miss Adam's inhaler at the crime scene?
:stopitslime:

It's entertaining, shot well and the acting has been on point. There's been a few parts of the story already that make you suspend reality for the sake of watching tho.

I'm suspicious of the judge in general. He is this upstanding moral judge who does the right thing and gets cops to recant made-up stories but on the other hand he is too smooth and thinks too quick on his feet to be so straight-laced:
  • Peeing on the bridge and saying he had prostate cancer when the cops saw him on the bridge looking sus
  • Teaching his son how to create a solid alibi
  • Purposefully having the convo with the shop owner about yesterday's happenings
