Economy was amazing under Trump until COVID hit. Can't fault him for a worldwide pandemic. Turns out he was also correct to restrict flights into the US and China indeed was responsible. There is no trade war. China and the EU were sticking it to the US for years until Trump imposed his tariffs during the 1st Presidency. U.S. companies were complaining about the IP theft in China and limited access to markets in Europe because THEY had tariffs on our imports. Trump's tariffs were so successful that the Biden admin didn't repeal them and even expanded on some of them. You dudes are so stupid and just come on this forum to gripe and bytch everyday without understanding how any of this works. The fact you think tariffs always lead to trade wars and don't even know it depends on the domestic strength of the industry being affected says a lot. Both administrations are trying to inshore American industries as fast as possible because American companies are finding excuses to outsource jobs that would usually go to American workers. They do not care if it is painful in the short term. They have to build up our infrastructure to prevent what is occurring in Europe.
