For the longest time since I saw it as a kid my favourite movie was the first Blade. Waaaay underrated as an action movie and doesn't come up enough when people talk about the best superhero movies. That opening nightclub brawl has to be in my top three action sequences of all time. As far as I know it was the first film to have bad ass techno leather trenchcoat kungfu gunplay styles since before the Matrix and Equilibrium. Also the first film to rehabilitate vampires from being old long fingernailed senile dudes wandering around empty castles to making them move with the times (apart from a few exceptions like Lost Boys and Near Dark).
