It depends on where she is in life. I already pay all my bills solo so if she is in like grad school or working on her degree, she could live rent free. If she has an establish career, she is paying half or proportional to my income.

With the money I save, id just pay off my student loans quicker. We all win.

If she has my child then no she doesn't have to pay anything.
