Breh, this should be common sense. A college receiver should know that the clock doesn't stop when you don't have a timeout and don't have a first down. How else would the clock stop?

of course that's a known fact, but lets not act like we've never seen a player in any sport make a bonehead play because his coach didn't reitterate game situations, the kind of stuff you can talk about during a timeout or after spiking the ball. i can't blame a player for decisions made in the moment, especially when the antithesis of that decision isn't properly discussed by the people tasked with seeing all possible outcomes.

Yep. And even Yeldon slid down and stayed in bounds on that 3rd down play... and he's just a damn freshman. It's like those Georgia players have no football IQ:scusthov:

I'm sure they told him that BEFORE the play to stay in bounds. Big difference than seeing a ball come your way and you do what you've always been taught to do and that's catch the ball.

Exactly. If I turn around and i see the ball coming towards me...i'm going to catch it.

Fault Murray for throwing the ball too low and having two WR's on the same side when throwing a low ass "fade" route allowing it to get tipped

fukking ridiculous man. I just knew we were about to spike the ball and get a couple of legit shots at the endzone.

Instead I'm looking at the TV like :dwillhuh: while this fukkery ensues.

Why do we have so many people on one side of the field anyway running in the same direction.
