The north east has treated me well. I have no real interest living anywhere else in this country. The only place I see myself is in NYC. Although I do want to check out Seattle and Chicago. I almost moved to Portland a couple years ago but it was too laid back. I need to be challenged and push myself. NYS has it's challenges, especially economic. Everything else is straight, diversity, woman, food, opportunity...

Look into some blue states do some reading. Look for jobs and apartments where you're considering.
Start putting money aside and send out resumes.

Unless you're highly gifted in sales, or naturally charismatic, you more than likely won't be able to come up on any jobs unless they pertain to minimum wage labor. It's really infallible to try and live off anything remotely close to minimum wage(8.10). The cost of living is ridiculously high and having a car is mandatory, at least in LA, frisco has better public transportation system.

With that said, there some what of a bad stigma associated with black people in general, unless you come off as the clean cut professional type cat.....

Yeah i'm in school right now but I don't have a degree or anything. I'm stuck paying off this auto loan for the rest of the year and when it's done, I'll try to make a possible move out of state once I'm comfortable with my resume' and job skills (and a decent amount of money saved....atleast 15gs). Yeah I know it's more expensive by the ocean and shyt but I'm not opposed to have a few roomates either. All in all, this isn't optional as I see it. It's going to happen, and sooner rather than later. I don't see myself living here too much longer (pull out date is early to mid 2014....fukk what ya heard)
