folks can't shut they mouth for shyt I swear
I don't get it though, this is not a secret. He didn't reveal anything. It's common knowledge that the easiest way into the UK, the EU, Japan, Canada,Korea, and the US is by being a PhD or masters student, because you become a valuable person to the new society and are more likely to get a permanent welcome when you are a doctor of medicine or dentistry or physics, or engineering, etc

This isn't ground breaking stuff. Indians and Chinese do this stuff heavy in the US. And this is much better than coming as a day laborer or an illegal immigrant.

It doesn't even harm the target country. All these nations are better off with a new nuclear engineer even if that person brings his/her family. That's whole point of immigration, isn't it? Attract valuable smart, humans .

I'd understand the problem if these Nigerians were coming under the guise of school and then ditching their studies, but they still have to remain enrolled yearly to remain in these nations.

It’s just white noise & the dumb guy didn’t have any effect on the decision. He’s just a scapegoat for having a big mouth - which is synonymous with how loud Nigerians are.

The British government opened up the borders intentionally for austerity & work force. And who else would provide that apart from international students & the exorbitant fees they pay & highly skilled people looking for ways to move to the UK?

The government killed 2 birds with one stone: made quick £100billion in 3years whilst getting the needed workforce - to work in areas where there are shortages. And with that - they boosted the economy.

The UK needed this due to Brexit & this option provided a better alternative than the freeloaders from EU who come in empty handed & are also entitled to social welfare - since this wave of immigrants aren’t entitled to anything whilst injecting the much needed cash into the economy.

They stopped it cos they have reached the specified quota & this useful idiot & his big mouth didn’t influence the decision. The UK is a police country & the government is aware of everything. He didn’t expose anything they didn’t know already…they intentionally turned a blind eye cos the economy needs the money.

So how did it work before? Apply for student visa, bring in your dependents while you’re in school, but what happens once you finish school? Does your dependents go home?
