This is a nice finesse move by the labels... makes these artists work harder, have more streaming revenue for the labels while making them feel like they are succeeding with flops, despite the labels mismanaging them or just flat out not investing like in the case of Thug.

Yeah, straight up short bus music for them. And paying them pennies.
