Just did more research. If he is saying this is the locker room of the 1996 Survivor Series, Austin was already Stone Cold because that's the night he fought Bret in his return.

Well I could be wrong and likely am. On Raw Corey was plugging the show and said this was Rock's WWE tryout match. Now of course a show like this is not going to get everything 100% accurate. They probably have to write it going off Rock's memories of that time.
