Man I miss the 90's. Back when rumor got out that Tommy Hilfiger ain't want black folk wearing his shyt, Tommy was damn near boycott and permanently fell out of relevance in Hip Hop overnight.:pacspit: Then urban fashion came and crushed shyt. It was a slow start, but Fubu made $350 million in 98'. :whoo:If only a black owned brand made by nikkas from the hood could come up like that today. LL trolled cac ass Gap by wearing a Fubu hat in their commercial and they didn't even know until after they aired that bytch on national TV.

Most of the high end shyt nikkas be wearing looks bammerish as fukk. :comeon:And a lot of it gets bootlegged so you always end up wondering if it's fake or not. :stopitslime:Advertising to the world you wearing Gucci or Burberry wearing a tacky ass pattern on your back. They specifically make heavily branded shyt for hoodrich today broke tomorrow nikkas. Ralph did the same thing with big logos for nikkas. The shyt rich folks actually rock is lowkey, doesn't have Gucci, LV, Burberry or Purple Label written all over it and the quality of the garment speaks for itself. :snoop: And you more likely to find shyt like that at a thrift for next to nothing because rich folks give away shyt all the damn time.

To put shyt in perspective there are D&G customers that spend what he has spent on D&G in ONE day ..... the customers that buy the couture stuff , so in the grand scheme of things hes small fry ....

Yeah, he's a dumbass for thinking he's a big dog cause he spent low six figures at D&G or any of these luxury euro brands:mjlol:

I could never understand spending so much on clothing ...

I remember I seen a broncos post game interview a year again and this white DT had this dope Gucci tiger sweater on..

I’m like hmmmm lemme see what it’d run me

That mfer was like $850 for a sweater...!!

Idk I don’t think I could spend that bread on clothing

I don't think I could either.

But, everyone has something they are willing to pay a premium for. Even you, breh.

Maybe it's cigars. Maybe it's electronics. Maybe it's cars. :manny:

The irony is that cac brands nikkas wore back in the 90's literally depended on nikkas dollars. :mjgrin:When nikkas stopped wearing Girbaud in the mid to late 2000's (I'm from the Bay, which was one of the last hold outs for Girbauds) them French cacs went bankrupt and tried to say we didn't want nikkas wearing our shyt anyways after the fact. Cac owned Avirex pretty much died and became a Sears brand after nikkas stopped wearing the leathers. Fubu bought Coogi in the early 2000's even though Coogi was an Australian cac brand because Biggie put on Coogi on the map. Truth is that Jay Z made much more money from Rocawear than they did their music. Even Dame said you ain't gone get wealthy and stay wealthy off music alone. But these high end Italian brands don't need black folk business, especially when it come to rap nikkas from the hood, and carried Dolph the way they did for a reason. :usure:

I don't understand why rappers are infatuated with dressing like Euro sex traffickers. All that Italian designer bullshyt is garbage. nikkas sing and rap about the shyt all day basically giving free advertising and wonder why they treat you like a wet food stamp or don't acknowledge you at all.
