I chose to overlook it because I'm putting his post in it's proper context which it appears 98% of posters here are not doing.
His post is about mate selection and in that regard survival of the fittest.
And so within that context, this is a competition. This is a game. So it doesn't surprise me if, like all competitions or like all games, somebody is gonna want to talk that shyt.
The brotha was just talking that shyt. Talking himself up and I absolutely don't have no problem with that.
The game is this.
1) He's facing down Goliath (black women). In order to properly address them he has to bring them down to size. His strategy was to put up a mirror and show them the corner that they have backed themselves into based off of their mate selection criteria.
2) After bringing Goliath down to size, the next strategy is to make himself appear larger than what he actually is. He does this by basically saying I'm the one that you want. I have checked all the boxes that you have repeatedly said you desired. I am the actual prize, not you.
3) The final strategy is to destroy his competitors. Yes, black men are brothers. Yes, black men need to look out for one another. And yes, we need to be more on some kumbyah shyt. But when it comes to mate selection and wanting to attract the highest quality women possible, we're competitors. So he plays up the negative factors in other black men to illustrate why black women shouldn't want them.
That's the game. Bring down to size, enlarge oneself, eliminate competitors.
What that means is, nikkas from all sides of the aisle are gonna catch strays. And them strays were caught.
Why he chose to make his graduation post about mate selection. I don't know.
But that's what it was. So you and everyone else need to put his "feelings of superiority" and "shytting on black people" in its proper context.
Maybe, like so many men, his motivation is p*ssy. But you see this all the time. Lots of men lose weight and get in shape because of p*ssy, not because they want to get into the best health and best shape for themselves. So maybe his motivation for excelling academically and the drive for his ambition falls in the same pool. Thus the post. Then we can absolutely talk about that and how problematic that is.
But his post within it's proper context is not surprising.
What was surprising to me was his post to his own brother. My brothers and I operate as one unit. We are not in competition with one another. We all have different strengths and we use those strengths to push and motivate one another forward and to abet one another when we have weaknesses.
So I didn't get that post at all. He's not operating as one unit, and most of all, it exposed that he can't even support other black men when they are doing good and when they are not competing against him. He, at the very least, shouldn't be competing with his brother. Everything isn't a contest.
I legit don’t understand why you see black women as a group to compete with...like you literally compared us to Goliath, aka an enemy that was killed.

The only thing that separates me and him out of that list is he's probably 1-2 years younger and has those degrees. I can't even give him props for that since I can tell by that tweet hes in it to win it by being the only negro in the room. I don't think it's a black men/women thing.
Men in general look at women as something to be conquered. And I don't mean that in a negative way. But that's why I used the Goliath illustration.
I think it's just some in-born evolutionary trait.
