I said before that the casual deep 3's and pre-game trick-shot show, that Curry started getting notice/praise for, Lebron was doing way back in 2008/2009

Jason Williams was shooting 30 footers 10 years before Bron...What separates anyone who came before Steph was he was a RELIABLE shooter from that range

This guy is the greatest basketball player of all time. He has every tool in his offensive bag, cats misconstrue the fact that others may be more talented in a particular area, as meaning LeBron lacks that particular talent...

He could always shoot, it was never true that he couldn't shoot, it's just his shooting wasn't his strong suit and was weak initially, and gradually became stronger. But he always showed the ability to hit long j's, j's off the dribble, pull up j's, catch and shoot j's, all of it...

It was never true that he "couldn't" do these things...

"He could always shoot...it's just he wasn't a good shooter & got better."

LeBron was a streaky kind of shooter but by no means was he good early on...his shooting form before 2008 was legitimately ugly.

LeBron actually used to be really good at the half court shots but in 2012 he became obsessed with his fg% and passes them off every time now

Steph Currys normalized it though.

It's not that Curry started logo threes and pull up 3s. Its that he normalized that shyt to where it is common at all stages of the game, and for even role players to do it

LeBron did deep threees, but mostly when the the shot clock or quarter clock was winding down.

Kobe and TMac did pull up threes, but mostly on a heat check.

Currys legacy is in how you see A LOT of players do it CASUALLY - not just when they have the hot hand or late in games. Curry made this shyt a normal part of an offense.

Pull up threes, logo threes, off the dribble iso threes, off balance fade away threes, etc. Used to be situational/circumstantial, but now it's in afterthought. Role players are expected to do them now.

He was created in a lab by Dr. Naismith. on some bio Android shyt.

GOAT tier speed power athleticism accuracy package, with the highest IQ ever. Absurd.

Lebron's main flaws offensively are that his handles/crossover abilities are not great, and that his post game is still limited moves wise. He still gets it in at a good clip, but the lack of a sheer bag prevents him from doing it consistently.

I feel like as he has put on size, he has lost his mobility and nimbleness.
