:russell:you're boring me.

Man who do think you're fooling with this bullshyt statement? Honestly.

No one who knows better is going to take an African woman talking down to us about identity politics seriously, considering pan Africanism is a diasporan invention and was pushed heavy on our side first, while African tribes were busy letting white men bait them into warring with each other and selling tha collateral for baubles and rum. If not for us she would not even have a platform to spew her ignorance for tha world to hear. She should worry about her end b4 commenting on ours because beyond tha meaningless made-for-tv platitudes it's clear to see that alot of Africans know nothing of what it really means to be unified and frankly aren't ready for pan africanism.

this aados shyt is lame...

We're more than just descendants of slaves.

But my ethnic group started out of slavery. I can’t point to what specific tribe my ancestors were in Africa, because my ancestors are a mix of various ethnic groups because of rape and how they bred us like cattle.

This is coming from someone who recently visited South Africa, and has plans to go to other African nations.

Play dumb brehs :mjlol:
If I do a DNA test rn, Imma likely get a mixture of African nations; some European countries, and possibly Native American.

This would be vastly different than someone who is a Nigerian or Ethiopian, who’s DNA would likely be overwhelming Nigerian/Ethiopian. :dead:

We ain’t the same breh, ADOS is a unique group and it’s nothing wrong with acknowledging that.

Ironically, the modern day concept of a an "African" is a creation of the Albinoid.

That entire landmass being refered to as "Africa" globally, just barely predates the trans-atlantic slave trade...so what she's asserting is wholly false.

So-called "Africans" didn't even start refering to themselves as "Africans" until the 20th century, only after about 100 or so years of colonial indoctrination, which also includes these 50+ fake ass nation states and borders that were drawn up at the cultural expense of the inhabitants of the land.

No group of people with a strong cultural foundation would ever let outsiders define who they are as a people, and allow themselves to be named after bywords created by their enemies.

This is exactly what you're doing when you allow yourself to be called "African" or even "Black".

why is this still being harped upon. This subject now triggers folks, few years ago it was dashikis and problack rhetoric, now its fyck Africans. As someone who was born in America and have African roots, I dont beg anyone to claim the continent you can say you come from the ground for all I care. This has been all my life, it was shocking to see some claim it a few years ago, but that didnt last long. True sentiments

Nikkas just ride waves in this era.. two years ago it was Wakanda forever, now it’s “ADOS”

Identify and proudly be associated with being slaves brehs

Not saying that's what's meant here, but a lion is a wild cat. A panther is a wild cat, etc. I do know that those who leave or are raised elsewhere are called it too.

Honestly speaking, the word used to refer to Nigerian Americans who would always look so well-polished when they returned home from America. I don't know when the meaning changed.
