I like how the OP just cut and pasted the twitter misquote, like why bother even listening to what she said.

The woman acknowledged our ancestry and brehs are furious :wow: I don't think people really grasp what this country has meant for us. The price beyond blood sweat and bones.

Soon enough (if it hasn't happened already) a "nikka" will slam someone for being a "c00n", insert all kinda slave related terminology cuz they can't stand the though of being African :mjcry:

We respect our african brothers and sisters in the diaspora.

But ados is a ethnic group that made its own name and wants to be reapected as that
I'm happy I took the time and opportunity to read into Yvette Carnell and Antonio Moore's insights on reparations and follow them on Twitter and trust me there are actually alot of Africans and West Indians and first gens that support ADOS...don't get it twisted. It's about repaying debts from slavery that are owed and the economic warfare that's still waged against AA by the powers that be. I don't see how any Black person regardless of nationality could be against that. It's about time AAs got paid for building this country instead of getting the short end of the stick yet again.

there's no such thing as african. I does not define any identity. Just an FYI.

Like I hate when I meet women out and I say whats you heritage and they say: Im African...I tell em that means nothing to me because it does not tell me anything. Whats your country and tribal identity

Like when people talking about african spirituality...what does that mean exactly? Its does not define anything whatsoever

why is this still being harped upon. This subject now triggers folks, few years ago it was dashikis and problack rhetoric, now its fyck Africans. As someone who was born in America and have African roots, I dont beg anyone to claim the continent you can say you come from the ground for all I care. This has been all my life, it was shocking to see some claim it a few years ago, but that didnt last long. True sentiments
