It had its funny moments. I agree the leads were miscasted. Zero chemistry between Jonah and Lauren. BFF energy at best.

The pronoun best friend felt so contrived and forced. Eddie and Julia were the best things about this movie but that’s not a shock.

Wouldn’t watch it again. First half was clearly all Jonah Hill… it had that Judd Apatow/ Larry David awkward kind of humor. 2nd half just dragged on.

I’d say to anyone who hasn’t watched it, it’s worth it, just don’t have high expectations.
