first eddie scene. in the coffee shop., he's essentially doing standup. sounds like he was just ad-libbing.
This movie was better than the trailers made it look. Both Jonah and Eddie were funny.
It says its a romance but its really a vehicle to get Eddie and Jonah to riff.
Its a decent watch.
Did you see the way she looked in that dress?oh geez....la-la has just showed up to ruin any scenes she's in. how does she continue to get acting work?

That's the problem with you crab negroes, we got to support our boack sistas, she trying to feed her kids and you wanna take opportunities.I've already seen her topless on power. I don't even care to be honest.

This is very much a Kenya Barris movie. I REALLY wanted to like this film. The trailer had me laughing when it came out I was really looking forward to watching this. Unfortunately the movie tried VERY hard. This film thought that it was smarter then what it actually is.
It got to the point where all the jokes were just becoming forced and damn near cringeworthy…
The only good thing I will say about this movie is that Eddie Murphy and Julia Louis-Dreyfus were the best parts. They did the best they could with the material.
It was also nice seeing Lauren London get her feet wet in movies again. Other then that…this film is mid-ish AF.
