So Kenyans, Ethiopians, 1st generation Nigerians born or that moved to the U.S. are not African Americans??

:jbhmm: :lupe: :patrice: Really??

Oh I see their just black.........even though are more genealogically African than traditional African Americans.

See my point about racial definitions and constructs is that Amber Rose is hop scotching in and out of her "blackness", but she is by no means the only one.

That's my only point.

If Amber Rose is not black according to her own words, then cotdamnit, she's not black.....

If Rachel Dolezal, according to her own words..... and lifetime supply of tanning bronzer, is black.....then cotdamnit, she's black....

No, they are not. Hell, some of these Africans (not all) often go outta their way to disassociate from African Americans aside from partaking in some parts of our Culture here and there. You gotta have Ancestral ties here that stretch that 400 year span of wicked fukkery in this country brought on by slavery and Jim Crow and the legacies these events have imprinted among African Americans to this day.

The African American is culturally distinct from the African. We share many things yes, but African Americans also have quite a few things that set us apart from Africans. The African that got to stay in the Mother Continent never experienced what we did. Black South Africans are the ones that are closest to having a similar experience. Overall, African Americans are a separate Black ethnic group of our own at this point.

Go walk around in a major metropolitan area in this country where you’ll run into hella Africans like the DMV, NYC, ATL, Houston, Minneapolis, Charlotte, Philly, Bmore, Boston, Bay Area, etc. and find someone from Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Mali, Senegal, Gambia, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, etc. and ask them if they actually consider themselves African American, then report back to us :laff::laff:

I understand allllllllllll that.

As far as the census as far as apportioning congressional seats......the box these "non-African Americans" will check off is "Black/African American"....unless you ok with the "Black/African American population being watered down even more.

fact we were the same as the foreign black people you are being divisive with now for no reason at all.

This is where I stopped reading.

"No reason at all"..:russ::russ:

Africans are the "root" of the division and not claiming any responsibility says it all.

It was all good until you started getting that AA resistance, where done being the welcome Matt for those ungrateful fool.

We have our own culture, history, we are our OWN GROUP!!! Not everyone can say I'm AA just because we share similar features and color.

If you are not a defendant of slavery in America, you are not African american

My issue isn't us having our own group, its people saying a African cant speak on black issues. Even if they were raised as black people here in america. Amber Rose cannot because she isn't seen as a black woman, and hasn't made a effort to be clearly be defined as such.

Plus I don't see people claiming they are AA who know their roots and tribe, thats why I say you are being divisive! You are trying to create a problem where there isn't one,or a need for clarification. Same as you dudes do with biracials, black people haven't had a issue pinpointing which biracials are with and against us all this time. Yet you dudes want to go to extra extremes and be hateful and discount ALL biracials as not being black, because some biracials are crazy, switchsiding c00ns. Now you are doing the same with Africans and other foreign blacks, but mostly Africans.

How are africans the root of the division? As if no african countries have welcomed us with open arms,as if we haven't been asked to come back by some? How are africans responsible?when africans were the ones being sold:mindblown:? You nikkas act like africans voted to have us shipped out,no it was decided by a dictatorship, and some africans sold other africans out for money. Some of us were stolen because whites would rather steal us than pay for us,or wanted more slaves than african leaders would allow to be taken. Show me where africans as a people,or africa as a country are benefiting from slavery?thats why this argument doesn't work the way it does with whites in america. African people don't owe you shyt, but mutual respect, and willingness to come together to topple white supremacy which both countries are suffering from. fukk those who don't have that mutual respect or willingness on either side imo.

The root of division is white supremacy and black people globally taking on european ideologies and brainwashing:martin:. Many africans percieve us through the same lense white supremacy tells them. Which is why I say AA's know better,we are the leading experts on white supremacy and white trickery.

So you falling into the trap is embarrassing:martin:

Im guessing your from the melting pot,not an accurate depiction of race relations throughout america as a whole.
