Homie we just pointed out a handful of flicks that qualify. It’s not dead at all. Are they making as many as they used to and releasing them wide? No. But you could say the same for every genre that’s not a superhero flick now.

Edge Of 17 was a classicA classic teen flick
The teen film genre is pretty much dead but it’s full of classics.
The last one I can think of fr is Mean Girls, then the YA book to movie craze started and the genre died
The Duff was okay but it’s already an after thought.
