Is this the first movie in which they teased something that would be revealed in a later film?
yup....it would be different if he looked like himself and non comic book fans didnt know who he was cuz they dont pay attention to comic books. Its another thing when even the comic book fans dont really know who tf he is. U can tease something and still have it look like what you're teasing breh, come on

I didn't mean it like that, I meant this happens all the time in film in a series. People that are aware of the source material are aware, while people who don't have that knowledge have the :dwillhuh:

Here's a theory on why Lois
threw the spear in the water. When she came, Batman was about to kill Superman with the spear. Obviously Batman just can't kill Superman without any kind of magic, so any one with a brain would have guessed that the glowing spear is what can kill Superman. So she threw it in the water in the hopes that noone will ever find it or even look for it.

Come on guys use your brains :beli:

Here's the things, if you want to tease something that is meant for a sequel it has to at least make sense within the context of the movie itself. As it stands we have a random dude that popped up out of no where giving information that won't be relevant until a movie that hits theaters two years from now. That scene doesn't get addressed by the end of the film and is played like a random irrelevant dream in a movie overstuffed with dream sequences already.

son, these marvel f*ckboys can't THINK through anything... if it aint literally spelled out in the movie verbatim they get lost
:mjlol:

You think I'm a fan of them corny ass Disney movies with marvel labels?

Nah, I just feel like the movie had flaws and questionable creative decisions.

shyt like the email scene being thrown in randomly when they could have put that shyt in the after credit scene, I know they don't want to follow that approach but really that's the best way to add small shyt like that.

The flash suit sucked and that made for a terrible introduction to that character into the DCEU.

The lex character was awful. I think that the perfect lex character would be one that the viewer felt like he was right even when they knew he was the bad guy. This corny psychotic mad man approach just trash.

Superman should have been more involved considering the whole world was talking about him. He seemed like he just
:yeshrug: the whole movie. Maybe it's cause they chose to leave him silent the whole movie.

I still enjoyed the movie overall, but I'm not gonna pretend like it was a masterpiece.it's the small details and questionable decisions that take away from it imo. Story was good otherwise.

Nah. Around here if you critique a DC movie you're automatically a marvel stan whether you actually like the movies or not :pachaha:

Breh, they couldn't atleast put bolts on the sides of his head and make the bolt on the chest stand out more?

Even with that ugly robot suit, just those features would have made him recognizable. People would have stood the fukk up when that scene happened. The flash tv show has already the idea of time travel being a flash ability out there. Alot of casual people know this about him now.

If they made that shyt instantly connect to the viewer as the flash, that whole scene would have got a great reaction. It looks out of place when "booster gold" randomly appears out of nowhere.

How do people feel about Supes' 'hit by a nuclear warhead' face? Cool or cheesy?
The zombie look? Its straight out of dark knight returns

recognized it immediatley, as a matter of fact, im surprised snyder didnt have bats say the famous last words to superman while he was kicking his but with the kryptonite.

Yep, or the "Bruce, this is idiotic" line.

Oh someone else said something about it being from Flashpoint Paradox? Did he get hit by a nuclear bomb in this to?

in flash point, superman has been held captive for years in area 51 and hasnt seen the sun, which leaves him mal nourished looking.

in dark knight returns, he gets caught in the radiation of an exploding nuke launched by another country.
