In the comics they've always been close to each other. I don't think that close but kind of like New York City and Newark.
Nah breh. Metropolis is in Kansas and Gotham is in New Jersey. This movie randomly made them hella close.

Just got back from the theater. Smh. Wonder woman was amazing, Ben's Bat man is actually pretty good. Lex was ok too. Sup's death was extremely anticlimactic. Aquaman looks cheap. I really don't understand Lex's beef with Bat man....maybe I missed something. Batman's personality was just not it for me. He looked...weak, I guess. You mean the only thing Superman had to do to get Bat on his side was mentioning his mother's name? I guess...The pacing was weird. 6/10. I wouldn't watch it again.

Respect your opinion.. could of things though. Lex doesn't have beef with Batman. Lex knows that Batman have beef with Superman and wants to use him to try to kill Superman and almost succeeded in that. He was basically using Bruce as a pawn like he was using literally everyone else.

Also, I may have to disagree with Batman's cease of his aggression towards Superman and nearly killing. For starters, I cannot see any better way of doing it. Especially with this type of individual who not only have issue with him because of what happened at Metropolis, but even moreso when he had the vision and the warning by Flash saying that he was right all along and Superman is indeed a threat. So, NOTHING ELSE but something that connected him so intimately deep could of made Batman stop. Batman is a demented tormented individual. The murder of his parents as we ALL know fukked his head and it was something that was emphasized from his nightmares reliving that moment over and over. So for hear Superman say "save Martha", that's the one thing that he PERSONALLY could not save when his own mother was killed. That fukked him up. Then Lois coming in and explaining to him that's his own mother made Bruce realize that this "alien" is more human than he took for granted. It never occurred to him about Superman having parents or anything of that nature because how could he? All he ever saw of Superman is was from his perspective in Gotham and from his own Knightmare of the future. It is human nature to have words or actions that be triggers for others. Saying Batman's moms name was his. He almost lost it emotionally because that's the one person he could not save.... it was personal to him. It is why he vowed to save Superman's mom instead of Superman himself, as a way of self-redemption.

The Godverse
The critics are retarded, the movie was solid. Ben Affleck is arguably the best Batman to date. I loved the different take on Lex Luthor, dude was actually scary. When Wonder Woman came in, the whole theater clapped, such a great moment. I give it a 7/10, still doesn't top the GOAT Dark Knight. :manny:

Need to watch it again, few of my boys now seen it and threw up a tin of questions in our group chat.

How did Lex know who Bat and Supes really were ?

Batman didn't seem to care nor did Alfred say woah you killing ppl now. Yes I know he has killed a few times in comics. Wonder if Red Hood or Killing Joke be looked over now cos of this.

Just so many questions.

1) Lex knew way too much in this film (even before getting access to the Kryptonian archives) and it was not explained how

2) I assume Batman had started killing before the period in which the movie was set. So it would not really make sense for Alfred to suddenly make a big deal about it but he still gave Bruce that speech about "good men turning cruel"

he had shyt on aquaman, cyborg, flash, and ww...easily could figure out bruce/clark...also, people are ignoring whom he had working for him: the Russian dude is kgbeast....look him up and you'll know...

as for batman killing people: people are overblowing that....yea, he blew up cars, which probably killed those cats, but he's always done that shyt and no one cared/screamed 'he killed people'...he was doing that shyt the tim burton batmans....the thing about his 'no killing rule' is he doesn't intentionally kill someone (point a gun at them, stab them in the neck, shyt like that), which he didn't do in this movie....although you cld say he did intentionally kill kgbeast lol....

I liked it but I can see why people may take issue. Yes he has "killed" people before but I don't think it has ever been this blatant.

I mean, nightmare Batman was straight gunning people down and snapping necks:wow:

Dude was using the cannons on the Batmobile to kill:wow:

He stabbed a guy in the heart:wow:
