First he goes on saying he won't ever fight on ESPN (why not if the money is right though...?) and that politics matter in boxing then turns around and bash Crawford's resume in the very next sentence like that wouldn't have been affected by the mentioned politics and other external factors too. smh... How you gonna joke about who he beat if you just acknowledged how politics matter in boxing and that Crawford is "on the wrong side of the street". It doesn't add up.

As I wrote before politics are reality in boxing everybody should acknowledge this but not embrace it and make it even worse.

We are definitely in a new era in boxing. All of these guys are friends and talk/hang outside of the boxing ring. The only guy left out is Terrence Crawford. It is starting to look like how the NBA is now: more friendships, less rivalries.

This isn't new. It's always been like this. I've seen this kind of camaraderie amongst boxers since I've saw my first live boxing match way back in '86 at the Bonecrusher Smith vs. David Bey fight. There were a few boxers in attendance, who put on a show for the crowd that they couldn't stand each other, getting drunk/high together after the fight.

Hell, Sugar Ray Leonard and Marvin Hagler used to do lines of coke together.

When the contract is signed with most fighters, that friendship stuff gets suspended until the fight is over.

Scored the fight dead even. Shaen activity and underrated boxing got him the win. Danny needs to improve his inside fighting and footwork but I was impressed by both guys

I mean most of these guys are on different weight divisions though AB is an inbetweener of 140 and 147, he's pretty much a non-factor nowadays. Keith is more or less neutral he ain't really friends with Spence. I agree with your point when Errol moves up to 154 I doubt he'll fight Charlo, just look at Jermell and Lara it appears that Jermell reluctant to fight due his brother's apparent friendship with Lara. I'll give props to Danny and Sergei for fighting each other lol their coach didn't want them to fight. The only divisions where I see genuine rivalry and no friendship is 115, 168, 175, and 200. LOL the heavyweights are more interested in being sparring partners.

I don't think they were friends but I do think they had mutual respect for each other due to coming up in the amateurs. I think these new prospects coming up are gonna be less buddy, buddy with each other than the current top dudes in 147 and 154

World Class fighters you just arent gonna ko with one shot; outside form the Manny JMM 4, the unnatural shyt it rarely happens......Swift is to elite a combination puncher to not move his fukking hands, that falling in love with power shyt.....A trainer preparation glitch......

On top of that, I just dont think Danny took the fight seriously, how the fukk did he outgrow 147 all of a sudden out the blue; his body looked dark black n blue at weigh, that weight cut beat the man body up

there is just no way in hell swift won that, and i cant stand watching porter's style of fighting but he did outwork him. i can maybe accept a draw, but you dont stand there getting wailed on that much and come away a winner.

i think he took it seriously, he just does not seem to have another gear that he can switch to, and his power at 140lbs may have prevented him from learning how to control the pace since he didnt really need to back then. i think adding another trainer would be great for him.
