Fab is probably one of the only "Old school rappers" that EASILY transitioned into today's era. Even the bars got better, the punches are ill and he sounds natural rapping on today's production. I'm giving this whole thread a BIG GTFOH! If anything, it should be studied on how Fab stayed relevant and fresh after all these years. Fab found his new BAG on the Jada collab album as well as Summer Shoot out joints. Nah, i wholeheartedly disagree with this BS.

These clowns been hating on Fab:martin:

I think he just represents cookie cutter rap for them. And the fact he has bars makes it even worst because they think he could be using his powers for good:mjlol:.

I could care less about Fabs albums, but he been delivering on mixtapes for decades. The man basically created the mixtape scene as far as im concerned. His style was the blueprint for alot of cats on those tapes back in the day. If you didnt have punchlines you might as well hang it up.

Fab was dabbling in the Carribean lane 10 years ago.

So im just going to say he basically invented punchline rap and started the afro beat wave:hubie:

He is why rappers uses punchlines.

Fab is a great mixtape artist that had moderate commercial success, hell, more than most from that era during the time. Is well respected amongst fans and greats.

And this point is still right. If anything, his biggest influence has been outside of rap (Twitter/fashion) that allowed him to stay relevant. Twitter was a godsend for bro

:mjlol: “Influence”? All the fakkits and weirdos diluting the culture, and nerd ass nikkas choose to shyt on a real one for some clout. Soul Tape and Summertime Shootout series is goated. Not to mention his R&B collabs are second to none and STILL get played to this day, nothing but hits.

You can actually play this shyt wit yo girl and vibe to it. Everything don’t have to be conceptual all the damn time. nikka has classics for the ladies, the club, the ride, parties, or you just got off after a long day at work, last day at that, and you just trying to chill. And oh yeah, that one other thing, he can ACTUALLY RAP too, and blend in with the new nikkas at the same time. And as far as influence is concerned, him along with Budden and Phonte are all Drake’s bidding fathers. Go debate Boot Camp Click vs Jedi Mind Tricks or something try hard ass nikka, no clicks.

Fab got some classics songs and tapes, fashion influence, has remained relevant for close to 25 years in hip-hop and still sounds dope while being himself on modern production with modern features, even Drake said he was inspired by him and you can see it
