Fab has lyrical ability but he has no charisma, mic presence and made too many songs for females

^Fab’s charisma has carried him more than anything, in addition to his female songs, which is a staple for him and why he remained as relevant as long as he had. That whole post is very false, cause if he didn’t have any of that, he wouldn’t have lasted as long as he had. Fab clearly has mic presence. You know who has zero mic presence? Uncle Murda. You know who has zero charisma? Ice Spice.

Do you know how rare it is to come across a rap artist/catalog that changed hip hop? This same thing can be said for 95% of rappers, remove their discographies from hip hop and nothing would change…and? Not everyone is a game-changing, once in a generation level artist. A better discussion would be is Fabolous the most disappointing rapper in terms of potential and what he could have been vs. what he became…career wise.

I’ve had a soft spot for Fab since 2001

Was a trendsetter for the culture

Had some good features

Got some unfortunate Neptunes beats

Rap changed after 2003 so he got lost in the shuffle

Had a good 3 year run and still continued to put out music

I swear this generation has ran the word and concept of "influence" in to the ground.

Truth is, not too many people have had influence or a huge impact on the rap game.

And at the same time, not too many rappers have managed to stay relevant as long as fab has, so he deserves his props just off that.
