Survive the drought
Apparently there are skin tone and hair texture requirements that must be met before being able to identify with black people. For them to be pro-black is self hating according to some here.Does it make them "pro-black" since they put their lives on the line for the advancement of black people?
There's damn near no black person in America who is 100% black, no matter how dark your skin is or nappy your hair is. There's at least white or Native American in you. So I guess no one should have fought for black rights and we would all be better off without rights according to posters here or these people are self-hating.
As far as the thread goes, I don't think it's possible to pro-black with a white spouse with the way the black community is now. To forego a black mate would be to put the unity and preservation of the black community on a back burner to your own personal wants/desires.
