That prank call is too real

motherfukker said "Universal says drop Wu or your movie aint getting made" trying his asss off to cause a rift and Meth says "fukk Universal, I'm with my peoples" even before he catches on its a prank call

realest shyt ever, Meth is one of the most down to earth, truest dudes in Hip-Hop and even though he could have been bigger than the group, he is Wu-Tang for life

nothing but respect for Method

The problem with Wu Wear was that the members weren't making any money on it. It all went to Power. At the same time they were offered endorsement deals by other brands so Rza ended up being the only one really rocking it.

'For the new year strictly Wu Wear'

But they've been in the game 20 years now as a group, and while it's not all been peaches and cream (no pun), they've never recorded pathetic diss tracks and acted like little babies. And they're still together.

There's been drama, law suits, arguments but they've handled their business like grown men for the most part, unlike this embarrassing Mobb Deep soap opera.

You look at all the legendary groups and crews that have fallen apart since The Wu debuted; Tribe, Gang Starr, Mobb, The Roc, Dipset, Pete & CL (Make my beats fakkit :birdman:) etc etc. shyt even Outkast might as well have broken up.

And what makes the shyt even crazier is you got at miminum 9 guys. Most duos in hip hop can barely function for a few years before imploding. So I think The Wu should be saluted for just existing in 2012. It's pretty remarkable.

Maybe Wu-Tang really is forever :jawalrus:

Amazing run, amazing music. Just so much greatness has come from Wutang collectively.

Tho as far as not recording any diss tracks....ehhhhhh.....I dunno about that. I think they've sent a number of subliminals out. Unless you mean towards each other then my bad.
