Amy is such a revolting character that she makes you hate Gone Girl itself at the same time I had to also realize that I read that entire book in 3 hours so it was undeniably compelling

Gillian Flynn's work centers around the most horrid cac bytches conceivable, to the point where you might conflate the character being repulsive with the work itself being bad. Then you step back and realize how caught up in it you were
