Spence came through with the goods. It was competitive until Brooks head stopped moving from the 7th onwards

I think brook is done at the elite level. He cant protect both eyes against upper tier fighters now. Even a Khan fight is dangerous now :takedat: Khan would pepper the shyt out of his eye sockets.

Don't see how many welterweights can eat that sustained body attack and keep going. He was throwing hard as shyt, left hooks/uppercuts to the body out of the gate. Brook e looked significantly bigger. Errol should fight again in October then March then fight Thurman. He will look sharper from the start. He really only hit the double hook (body head) twice, which surprised me. Anyway great performance, going conservative I had it 6-4(-1) going into the 11th, but I knew Brook was done.

Good fight, I had Brook winning by slight edge until his eye started looking puffy. It seemed like he fatigued suddenly or something as soon as the eye started swelling. I figured he couldn't see at that point. Shame, both his eye sockets got broke in back to back fights. Bol might wanna either chill for a while or fight some cupcakes.
Spence looked good while at the same time looking human getting hit with basic 1-2s and Kells uppercut in the first half of the fight. I think someone who can let their hands go and move (Thurman) have a good chance of beating him but he is officially an elite welter now in my opinion

"When I got caught in the 11th it (his eye) wouldn't come back into line. It actually stayed there and it was coming on strong and I knew that I couldn't see and I knew he is a very sharp shooter - a very good fighter, Errol Spence Jr, and I knew that it could be fatal with some of the shots he was chucking.

I think he can handle him on the inside. He more than held his own with Porter there & Porter's probably the most physical & strongest of the WW's. I look forward to this fight
Porter also smothers his own work on the inside in a way that Spence doesn't tho, Spence is much better at working his way inside and then chopping you up.

True. I think an underrated part of Thurman's game is his physical strength. Porter wasn't able to bully him like he does with pretty much everyone else. But remember, if Spence is on the inside & not smothering his work that means there's enough distance for Thurman to get his power shots off too. I'm looking forward to this fight.

My UK breh:salute:

We are in agreement that Khan finishes Brook off for good.:obama:

I already thought Khan would beat him, but with 2 bad eyes vs the speed/accuracy of an Amir Khan, he probably gets his career ended.

This makes perfect sense to me.

If Broner had Spence's talent or Spence had Broner's personality we'd literally have a fighter who'd put boxing into the mainstream or have the type of fights that people have fight parties for at clubs, restaurants, bars, etc.
It's the total package. I have friends who don't give a shyt about boxing but will watch Broner because of the excitement he brings from outside of the ring.

Ali had it, Tyson had it, Floyd did, Broner has it but doesn't the talent. For casual boxing fans that shyt matters.

You nikkas don't watch enough boxing if you don't see how talented Broner is. Him and Spence are like neck and neck with talent. The only difference is Spence is more committed to the sport. He's not an emcee, promoter, doesn't engage in fukkery or the streets either. Spence is truly all about boxing.

Broner hasn't been focused like Spence has since the Demarco fight.
