He was hurt yes but look how he came through that. He coukd have wilted mentally but he stayed with it. And brook is a big puncher and very strong at ww don't get it confused
He was hurting him in the round bevore the eye started to cause a problem......Its easy not to wilt when u see a nikka with a broken orbital bone in front of you, Spence caught a second wind off that as he knew a kd or stoppage was imminent

Ok breh, even if I jumped the gun comparing dude to Trinidad, Spence still didn't let up and kept the pressure coming.

Wlad had AJ practically out on his feet and elected to box instead of stepping on the gas. Spence did what everybody said Wlad didn''t do. That has to count for something.
Easy to keep coming forward when Brook slapping ass is throwing chocolate pudding at nikkas, I mean does he sit down on punches at all

@knicksman2

u also said hes ill prepared for this fight.

can u admit u are wrong?

no reason to get hostile breh....we don't need none of that over a stupid boxing game.

I read what u quoted earlier and my mistake for getting some stuff u said wrong...probably remembering what others have said all week...

u said when he fought someone of decent strength he got shook.....okay and he fought kell(u have to agree who has more power than lartley) and took it. his chin is good and way better than I think u expected it to be. did he get shook in this fight ?yeah...but obvious not enough for him to get dropped or stopped.

thurman has not given me a reason to fear his power on the top 5 ww level yet.

shyt broner dropped porter and thurman the way bigger man couldn't. so can u understand my doubt now???

My bad & I didn't mean to come off as hostile. You're a good dude & I was wrong for that.

Brook showed there are still big holes in Spence's game at the elite level & it looked like he wasn't ready for it. Spence showed his grit & determination BUT...Spence fought the exact same way he fights. He didn't make too many adjustments. Thurman punches on the move & he'll counter Spence with the kind of firepower he's never felt. Remember what Guerrero, Porter, & now Bundu said about Thurman's power? You really think Spence can go into a Thurman fight thinking he's gonna chop him down knowing it's not that hard to hit him with your power shots? Porter said he got hit with some shyt he never felt in his career & Porter's chin is great.

He sat down vs little g. But that's cause triple L is straight up and down no special effects. He's a sitting duck when guys throw combos and Kell was actually digging in. Spence is a superior fighter to little g though and brook was too shook to ever sit down on his punches like that cause Spence would answer back quick with devastating body shots.

Breh I'm not one of these nikkas saying Spence washed dude. It was a competitive fight where Spence had to come back a lil in order to grind out a win.

Spence won the fight off of body shots, whereas GGG beat dude him with a hard jab and pressure. Brook was fighting to keep Golovkin off of him, whereas he didnt get to that point with Spence until the 2nd half of the fight because in the 1st half he was boxing that nikka and catching him with lead rights.

as for spence going forward- i love his offensive arsenal, but he can't fight on the back foot for nothing. he just straight shelled up when kell was on the attack, reminded me of broner vs maidana and porter. there's hope for him cause broner did better in his last fight vs granados on the back foot though.
I'd say thats the one glaring flaw for Spence right now and brook never took advantage. But when his opponent throws combos he just puts his hands up until they're finished. he does respond back quickly. But still, vs a good combination puncher he could have problems. But I don't think any of them dudes at 147 are great with combos. And none of them will be able to back Spence up. Hes simply too big, too physical, and too sharp for the remaining guys at 147. His defensive flaws won't be a danger for him until he moves up to 154.

good point but it felt triple g like where he didn't throw nothing at all. a smart fighter will get his shots off, then back track before spence can respond. then spence gotta reset- that's my worry for him. kell brook had a lot of chances to go to the body and didn't when spence shelled up. kell kept head hunting and just grazing him when the shots was there for the ribs. either way i hope we get to find out very soon
