I can't agree with you on Thurman being a hype job, but Kell Brook wasn't really thrilled with the idea of fighting Spence. The amount of sh!t talking Brook is doing right now is a bit of , "the lady doth protest too much, me thinks." Granted he's selling a fight which is part of his job, but I think the full gravity of knowing it's a wrap for him in the 147 lb division on it's way.

Brook's jab and grab shyt probably won't work on Spence only if he's so much quicker than him and I doubt that. Spence has more than 3 inches advantage in reach on Brook and he himself also has a phone pole jab. Plus I suspect that Spence will be the bigger, stronger guy in the ring.

In this fight to me that doesn't matter. What we know about Brook is that he has good timing & is a sharp/accurate puncher. Unless Spence becomes a defensive wizard & has an amazing leap in his defensive skills come fight night then he's gonna be there to get countered & tagged often. How his chin responds will be answered in this fight.

Brook will be at home to 20 plus thousand screaming and intimidating fans..this will give brook the edge, bell rings, the experience at 147 favours brook but Spence for me has a sharper ring craft, but that maybe due to his opponent's qualities?

I don't think the level of Spence's opponents have prepared him for this kind of step up in comp & hostile territory. If he does win then he's the real deal but I'm with Pat in favoring Brook slightly because of that & his defensive issues.

@Yuzo spence trainer say they don't practice combos during training. he says because you rarely see combos land during real fights. says he prefers just practicing countering one punch at a time. do u agree with this method of training?
