If I was some of these dudes I’d be putting insurances into my contract

If I’m signing to WWE your guaranteeing me a minimum 3 month run with the WWE title or we can’t sit down

I'd support my friends and do AEW. It's a big gamble and it's a once in lifetime thing, the WWE will always be there. Even if it's for a year to get the company moving, I'd do it. AJ floated for a bit too after leaving TNA, so despite his age (AJ was only a year older) he still ended up with Vince and nem. Get a light schedule, percentage in merch and try something new booking wise.

Take the guaranteed Millions from Vince and Company?

Or Join your friends in a company that hasn't even started yet, with no TV deal, and a roster of like 10 guys?

I know all of you are going to say sign with AEW, but, Kenny is old now man, he is 35. He isn't 25. If I was him, I would take the most money, and talk Triple H into limited Dates, and a huge share of merchandise sales, like a Rey Mysterio Type deal. Rey has always gotten more shares of his merch then anyone else.

Triple H is desperate as fukk right now. He struck out with the Bucks after 12 hours of negotiations, struck out with Cody (like who even wants with him without the Bucks anyway), lost out on Adam Page and Bandido.

If I was Triple H, I am giving this guy whatever he wants just to break up the circle of friends.
Is he though :patrice:

As a fan, I'd hope for the E...because I want to see him wrestle someone new and MJF ain't it....:francis:

What's the point when all the matches are booked by the same garbage ass creatively devoid agents and everyone's styles are neutered? AJ and Bryan out there doing snoozefests.

It wouldn't be any different with Kenny.

In the United States, it's much easier to sell "elite" wrestling than "Japanese" wrestling. The mainstream wrestling community is ready for a new canon.

AEW has a deal with NJPW, who has already been promoting the company. This will allow for excursions and talent exchange. They're also paying Meltzer to keep it kayfabe. He could spill a lot more, privy to tons, but he is literally on their payroll.

Kenny will have a founder's deal that will see him capable of making more money than if he just took a WWE contract, a franchise building legacy that elevates him into living legend, and he'll work with people he has voluntarily and happily worked with for years.

And oh my god people, you do not do the "refused the countout victory" angle in one's last match in NJPW, of all places. He pulled Tana back into Ace position, created worldwide buzz, and is sitting comfortably amidst the maelstrom.
