I honestly agree, I was never crazy over Barret, but I don't think he has it.

He's not that great of a wrestler, he is decent on the mic and nothing about him stands out from the crowd.

I never understood people who were truly sold on the guy. He peaked as the leader of the Nexys, even then it was still nothing amazing

Hilarious matches? :rudy: You must meant to say something else.

And I notice the two vids you posted are from the Nexus era. Surprise surprise. :smugbiden:

All stanning aside though, his feud with Big Show that culminated in the elimination chamber match wasn't bad. If you ask me, feuding with Big Show is a fukking black hole. If you can get out of a feud with him and still have some momentum, then you're good. He went on to beef with Ezekiel Jackson for the IC title and that was :ehh: but mostly because the IC had been severely devalued at that point. shyt meant nothing, and they weren't given much time to build towards anything you really could care about. The Corre was them latching Slater, Gabriel and Jackson hoping that some of his charisma would rub off on them. It was basically Nexus redux with none of the impact of the original Nexus. After being injured by that behemoth Big Show they repackaged him rather well in my opinion, but then that went nowhere. Squashing Yoshi Tatsu on Raw gets you no points. Tensai got a better push coming out than Wade got returning. I think all Fight Club Wade needs to do now is go on a nice, clean win streak to build him up as a legit fighter. The mini feud he had with Sheamus over a week or two was more interesting than Sheamus' main feud. :manny:

It's not Del Rio himself I turned on, because I know Vince has a coke-on for him, so Vince likes to Vince by putting him in the most pointless, stupid spots without finding more of a way to get him over. Just putting the strap on nikkas don't work, because people actually got to give a fukk about them. That, and it's shown that the E don't really give a fukk about the belts as much as they should, so why would the fans?

His only signature moment was winning the Rumble, only to have Edge's pussified neck force them to give him a going-out-on-top match, killing any chance of Del Rio to get any shine. He was most over during their tour of Mexico, and Vince only put the strap on him to suck up to my fellow peasants across the border :snoop:

Wade's thankfully not being given an immediate title run, and has a chance to make it still. Kinda early and desperate to call it a wrap for him :yeshrug:

says the guy pushing Heidenreich and Ezekiel :aicmon:
Meltzer says the feeling backstage is that Ziggler and Wade are the two guys that got next and the WWE has big plans for.

Of course Liggins comes through with his clueless nonsense, right on schedule :heh:

So now a WWE cosign means something? I guess since Sheamus got that full green light you'll shut up about him now. :heh:

Barrett has a great look, he is great in the ring, but his promos have ALWAYS been boring to me and that has really killed him. I also don't buy his intensity level like I do like Sheamus. I'm not saying I am a huge Sheamus fan but I have always thought he was more legitimate than Barrett.

You're nuts. Barrett has had some of the most hilarious matches this year. He gets no real mic time so he can get himself over again but they'll give him a full push at some point in 2013. He should of been holding that MITB case earlier this year and the antics at the Smackdown Elimination Chamber were on point. He's the definition of what a maineventer should be in today's era. Wade Barrett is :boss: status.

No character development, no reason for fans to care...

If the E would stop devoting time to "10 minutes ago" segments, "comedy" segments, and Divas matches, underrated talent such as Wade could get some shine

But this is E, this is 2012, the era, of fukkery :ohlawd:

Wade is not a whiner crying for attention. He's a :boss:

Sheamus sounds like a sissy compared to Barrett. LOL@buying him more than Barrett. Barrett has whooped his ass IN he ring and definitely slap the shyt of him if tried to get slick in a real way. Where is the GIF of Sheamus being shook by CM Punk in Chicago when he called him a second rate champion? I can GUARANTEE that Wade would NEVER let anyone bury him like that.
